Halden & Co
A twelve-year-old homeware brand that had stopped sounding like itself. New positioning, a full identity rebuild and a lifecycle programme that now carries a third of revenue.
Brewresearch is a brand and demand studio. We build the identity that earns attention and the campaigns that convert it — so the work that looks good also shows up in the numbers.
We started Brewresearch after years of watching good strategy die somewhere between the deck and the ad account. So we built the studio the other way round: the people who set the direction are the ones who make the work and run the spend.
Nine people. No account layer. We take on a handful of clients at a time because that is the only honest way to give each one real thinking rather than a template with your logo dropped in.
Most studios sell you one of these and subcontract the rest. We run all three in the same room, which is why the handoffs don't leak.
Positioning, naming, visual system and the words to go with it. We build brands as working tools — a designer who joins in year three should be able to make something on-brand without asking us.
Ideas that survive contact with a media plan. We concept, produce and ship across email, social, display and out-of-home, on a cadence fast enough to actually learn something from the results.
Budgets planned and bought by the same people who made the creative. Clean tracking, cohort-level reporting and a standing invitation to challenge our own numbers before you have to.
A twelve-year-old homeware brand that had stopped sounding like itself. New positioning, a full identity rebuild and a lifecycle programme that now carries a third of revenue.
Category-defining messaging plus a paid programme rebuilt around incrementality rather than last-click. Half the channels, twice the pipeline.
Launch identity and a six-week campaign sprint that took a cold-start product to a waitlist of forty thousand before a single feature shipped.
Two brands merged into one after an acquisition, without losing either audience. Migration messaging, a unified system and a year of campaign support.
“They rewrote how we talk about ourselves, then proved it worked in the ad account. I've never had a studio hand me a brand book and a media plan that actually agreed with each other.”
Not a pitch team. These are the people who do the work.
Founder, Strategy
Fifteen years across brand and demand. Writes the positioning, then defends it in the media plan.
Creative Director
Identity systems and campaign art direction. Believes a brand book nobody opens is a failed brand book.
Head of Media
Buys the media and builds the measurement. Will tell you when a channel isn't working before you ask.
Anything not covered here, just ask — we answer properly, not in brochure language.
Almost always with a paid discovery sprint — two to three weeks of research, stakeholder interviews and an audit of what you already have. You leave with a written direction and a scoped plan, whether or not you continue with us.
Discovery sprints start at $8k. A full brand build typically lands between $45k and $90k depending on scope. Ongoing campaign and media retainers start at $9k a month. We quote fixed scope, not hours.
Often, and it's usually the best setup. We'll happily build the system and hand it over, stay on for the first few campaign cycles, or sit alongside your team as an extra senior pair of hands. We're not precious about who ships it.
The three people on the team page, plus a small bench of specialists we've worked with for years — motion, photography, front-end. Nothing goes to an anonymous production house, and nobody senior disappears after the pitch.
Retainers are 90 days to start, then rolling monthly with 30 days' notice. If a channel or a piece of the plan isn't earning its place, you'll hear it from us in the Friday note before you spot it yourself.
A few honest lines beats a filled-in brief template. Tell us where you are and what's not landing, and you'll get a considered reply from Rina within one working day.
